I am a conceptual, process based artist who works in drawing, painting and sculpture.
The focus of my art relates to the ways in which humans connect - not only with each other but to geography, history, memories, culture and society.
What specifically interests me is what happens when those connections are ruptured in some way, perhaps through: war, bereavement, loss, migration, climate change events and social change.
Specific projects at present focus on how social media disrupts the connectivity with our physical surroundings and the importance of landscape connection as climate change impacts.
