My passion is the countryside. There’s nothing I love more than to lose myself in the great outdoors - walking, photographing, sketching. It’s these experiences that form the foundations of my artwork. What I see, what I feel, what I experience - it all feeds into my work. Whether it’s a simple botanical watercolour or a raging sea in oils, the finished piece is the product of my love, understanding and appreciation of the subject.
Over the years, my artwork has featured in numerous different places and publications across the country. I’ve received commissions from the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, exhibited at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA) and been published in the Natural England newsletter. I also undertake private commissions, from a simple botanical illustration for a wedding invite or christening, through to a full colour wildlife painting of a subject of your choice.
