Barley Grass Abstract

An abstract acrylic painting which resembles barley grass meeting in the middle section of the picture. Using a lime green background, each blade of grass has been added using a palette knife in varying shades of green. The blades of grass appear to be growing into the painting from the top and bottom edges of the picture as you view it horizontally.This has been painted onto a piece of hardboard and is now framed into a dark green round -edge style moulding which complements the colours perfectly.
