Learn to create this dragonfly using a technique which captures the delicate veins and tapering edges of its wings. This tutorial also includes several variations which include a brooch and earrings as well as different ways to hang the pendant, so you can have a whole set of dragonflies!

Don’t be put off by the length of this tutorial, as it contains a lot of information as well as all the variations.

The dragonflies measure 1 3/4” from head to tail and 2” across the wings.

The green dragonfly in the second image is the main tutorial, all others are in the variation section at the end.

3” – 5” or 6” 18 gauge half hard round wire (depending on which variation you are making)
