June Moonflowers

An acrylic,emulsion and acrylic ink mixed media painting of abstract flowers. This particular painting was a commission for my mother. It is painted on a long thin style of deep edged box canvas and the sides are painted in contrasting colours so there is no need for additional framing. A very contemporary design which also suits a traditional decor. Several different sized moonflowers are painted on a two-tone background in metallic gold and bronze. Stems are painted in acrylic ink and metallic gold and the lower half of the painting is an emulsion. Imperial size 31.5 x 11.75inches
