How Green was My Planning Permission
By tim bradford
I’ve been working and reworking the view from our Irish cottage for many years. The Cahermacrusheen Fields start at the Galway road and go down almost to the sea. When planning permission was granted on a new house in this pristine scene I fell into a melancholy state for a while. This picture is a representation of the mounds of earth being dug up in the field and hedges ripped out. But maybe I just need to get over my need for perfect views.
