Deluxe Viking Knit Kit - includes Drawplate, mandrels and materials and tutorials for Viking knit Chain and Torcesque Bracelet

The Deluxe Viking knit kit is designed to not only show you how I form the chain, it also includes comprehensive instructions on how to attach a new wire, so that it is not only securely held in place, but the join is almost invisible. It also shows you how to finish the chain, securing the end in place. How to form a wire cone to use as a very attractive end cap as well as forming a hook clasp, figure of 8 tapered link and a wrapped link.

Once you are comfortable with the single knit chain you will feel ready to move on to the more challenging Torcesque Bracelet. This design combines many techniques and components, that can be used for different applications in your jewellery making, including:-
• Double Viking knit
• Forming a bead cage
• Creating wire end caps
• Forging a hook clasp and link
• Forming a core wire for a bracelet

This kit includes the following items (the materials supplied are enough to make 1 x 18” viking knit Necklace, 1 x 7” viking knit Bracelet and 1 x Torcesque bracelet):
1 Drawplate
4 Mandrels

over 400” 24 gauge soft round wire

47” of 18 gauge soft round wire
180” of 24 gauge soft round wire

please note that these are natural stones and some beads have inclusions with some indents, see images.
