Lurraga Memory Fields

This is from an 1850s map of the townlands in Clare that was so detailed you could make out individual fields – they’re only slightly different today. The colours are from Venezuelan rural folk art – there are similarities with the West of Ireland… the superstitions, spirits, folk tales - and home-made booze.
