Blackrock Lighthouse Sligo
This depicts the view from a field adjoining Ardtarmon House not far from “Yeats’ Country” in Sligo, which is one of the most painterly counties in Ireland. Some artistic “tweaks” have been made, e.g. with the foliage (or lack of it) on individual trees, but the actual scene is a beautiful one and I like to think this piece does it justice.
