Vernal Equinox Sunset (Horn Head)
This is one of the many intriguing sunsets I have witnessed on Horn Head. On 20 March 2016 the sun appeared to “split” into two parts about half an hour before finally “reuniting” and sinking below the horizon between the small islands of Inishdoey and Inishbeg.
