Garden June 2012
By Sarah Walton
We had masses of Sycamore saplings growing in the hedgerows and I was advised by the chap that came to prune the massive one at the end of the garden, to get rid of these as they would just keep growing like weeds and take a lot of nutrients out of the soil. We chopped these down and I replaced the old stone birdbath with one made of these sapling cut offs and one of my bowls.
