Fragments Found 3.

After finding some interesting pieces of flotsam and jetsam and archaeological shards, I did some graphite drawings around this theme. I printed up these images in a simplified form, using small soft cut lino blocks and mono-print methods. This involves cutting the image, inking up the plate with a roller and then adding surface decoration with various tools to create interesting lines and textures, before printing on Fabriano Rosapina paper. The images are then cut out, rearranged and collaged into roundels.
