A Wave in Time

When one thinks of water or look at a child’s picture, it’s depicted as blue. The impact of a wave splashing up against rocks covered in algae, surrounded my seaweed was the inspiration behind this piece of artwork. During a meditative stillness in my spirit and heart, I was lost in the moment; what was a second, felt like time had been stretched out so that I could fully appreciate the complexity and beauty before me.
I hope the viewer is able to experience peace amidst their busy life. Also with all the negative news and ugliness in the world, this is a reminder of the beauty in nature and also humankind. I have learned that one has to pause, open one’s eyes and heart and see what’s good in this world.
