Palm Door

Based on a scene everyone can appreciate, this piece depicts a blacked-out car parked watching the sunset behind the towering palm trees of California/LA. This piece invites the viewer to question: Just what is that car doing parked ‘there’? stationary cars adopt a sculptural form, when they become reflective shapes of the environment around them. They offer a unique, warped take on our daily surroundings - of which I like to capture an actual parts of cars. This artwork is available to purchase through the Own Art scheme.
