Take Away Driver

This door is based on a local take away and when I first spotted it, was immediately inspired to do an homage to Nighthawk by Edward Hopper. I love the way stationary cars adopt a sculptural art form, when they become reflective shapes of the environment around them. They offer a unique, warped take on our daily surroundings - of which I like to capture an actual parts of cars. This artwork is available to purchase through the Own Art scheme.
