Wild Sky over the Tarn
This painting was done by memory of a scene in Wales but it could equally be Scotland, Cumbria or Ireland. The wild sky is gathering colourful clouds with just flecks of sunlight showing through and a few birds reeling with the buffeting wind. There are distant mauve/blue hills and foreground textures with water reeds and grasses.
Actual image size is 10.25"x14.5”, mounted in a warm white mount and framed in an oak frame 16"x20” approx 2” wide, 1” deep.
