Mystic

There are moments when we transcend to higher planes of spiritual growth. It’s in those places our senses are heightened, colours vibrate more intensely to their own tunes. This is what I"m hoping the viewer will see in this piece, the spirit’s movement in all it’s joy and glory.

A lot of time goes into the choice of colour and its production. It takes precision and experience with pigments to prepare the resins and the application of each layer. Patience is a prerequisite when producing artwork as each layer needs to cure before applying the next layer. The mediums i have chosen allow me to create artwork with more energy and visual impact.

In all my pieces, the highest quality of ground pigments are used and all canvasses are gallery-stretched.

Time has gone into painting the edges of the boxed canvasses so that framing is not necessary and can be hung as is.
