Celtic Cross - Copper wirework cross with faceted blue Topaz on a Viking knit chain

This little cross is packed with intricate detail. The blue Topaz faceted stone is tension set, echoing the pattern throughout the rest of the cross. Tiny spirals fill the central sections of the cross, whilst the flowing lines of the bare copper wire in the bottom section add a lovely contrast to the texture of the coiled wire.

I have made the Viking knit chain from copper wire which I have formed into a double knit. The chain is finished with handmade end caps, links and clasp.

The pendant is 1 2/3” tall (from the top of the bail to the bottom of the cross) and 7/8” wide. The chain is 17” long and 1/8” wide.

This necklace comes in a jewellery box.
