Sunlight spots (20.5x24.5'' framed (16x20'' unframed))

One moment of a hot summer day… Sunlight is everywhere. It’s warm bright speckles are dancing on the walls, following the caprice of the light playful wind. They gently caress a face, sliding on the head and finally fall onto the grass, passing to it their energy of the light and life.
Mom and a child in the middle of they daily chores. The little girl - is the heart-warming bright sun spot - the origin of the light and life…

Original one of a kind oil on canvas painting.
The painting is sold framed. Signed certificate of authenticity is attached.

About the artist

Alexander Koltakov

I am Canadian painter and sculptor, work with acrylics and oils on canvases, also create plaster on wood reliefs, or three-dimensional paintings, as I call them. I am truly passionate about the amazing beauty of nature, processing it through my eyes, my mind and my hands to the stillness of canvases and plaster, aspire to express not the picture, but the life itself, without forgetting the fabulousness of human presence in it. On canvases I work with brushes, palette knifes and finger touch when needed. My 3D paintings consist of the plaster figures, sculptured and carved on the base of the wood frame, finally covered with acrylic colors, creating spatial view, as real, as color - induced.
