Three Trees In Winter (Horn Head)
These trees are located in a slightly sheltered part of the windswept Horn Head peninsula on the north coast of County Donegal, which is Ireland’s northernmost county. The colours on the canvas were inspired by the local colours but heightened in line with my emotional response to the scene.
