Merry Go Round

This is painted from a photo I took of my daughter at a fair in town on Xmas Eve. The light was beginning to fade and it was a challenge for me to balance the cold light of outdoors with the warm electric light of the carousel, it reminds me a bit of when you bite into a hot desert with ice cream.
One of those fleeting, magical moments filled with beauty.
