Amethyst Sterling Silver Threader Earrings

A pair of lovely deep purple chunky faceted amethyst nuggets hang from a threader/wishbone/swing style of earring fittings in sterling silver. The end of the silver has been hammered so as to widen it to keep the gemstones in place and you thread the log backs through your ears. The amethysts are quite large, approximately 1.6cm long and 1.2cm wide but they don’t make the earrings heavy, they a good quality amethysts with a good depth of colour. the earrings are 5.5cm long from the top of the swing/wishbone to the bottom, in inches that is two and two eighths of an inch.
