Geometric Textured Silver Boho Earrings
A striking pair of lace textured fine silver boho earrings (fine silver is 99.9% silver, whereas sterling silver is 92.5%), in a geometric polygon shape, the backs are satin finished. Although they are quite large they are nice and light to wear and light bounces off the texture. They have nice long sterling silver hooks to help keep them in place. They are made from fine silver metal clay, if you have not come across metal clay before it starts life as fine particles of metal and that can be fine silver, sterling silver, bronze, copper etc. and the particles are mixed with a clay binder, it can then be formed, sculpted, patterned and many other things besides, once it is fully dry it is then fired and the particles of metal fuse together to create a solid metal piece, very interesting stuff, first created by the Japanese and now made all over the world! The length of the earrings is 6cm from the top of the hook and the width is 2.7cm and the drop length from the bottom of the hook is 4.8cm, in inches that is 2 3/8 from the top of the hook, 1 1/8 wide and the drop length is 1 7/8 of an inch. The earrings will not be as large on an actual human head as the are on the bust as the bust is a little smaller than a human head!
