Pretty teardrop bezel set chalcedony hang from simple sterling silver ear wires and from the gemstones hang Arts and Crafts style floral diamonds. the floral diamonds are made from fine silver metal clay which has a higher silver content than sterling silver 99.9% silver and sterling is 92.5% and if you have not come across metal clay before it starts life out as fine silver particles mixed with a binder, it can be shaped and sculpted and patterned in a myriad of ways, it is then fired and the silver particles fuse together making a solid metal piece, it was created by the Japanese and is now made in all sorts of metals! The earrings are 5cm long from the top of the hook with a drop length of 3.5cm and the width is 1.9cm, in inches that is 2 inches long, drop length is 1 3/8 of an inch and the width is 3/4 of an inch.
