So the High King of Mars…..In a kindly way sends for you.
Your najesty!.....Pronounce the consuls sent.
He won’t answer his door and our scanners come out negative…..He is not on Mars!
And our satellites confirm…...He rocketed straight to Earth!
And there is something else your Magnificence!......Our satellites also discovered a source of the most incredible goodness ever in Martian history…...Inconceivable delicious popcorn coming from a certain area on Earth…..And he is there…..That’s all we know.
Curious!..... Says the High King…Now leave me!
Now alone, the King smiles to himself…....Very curious indeed!
There is more to this story…...I’m sure of it!
And ponders some more, looking impressive in his throne… .Impish lines begin to appear across his face and his smile.
Note to the reader: If you are wondering how Martians apparently know about Earthians but Earthians don’t know yet about Martians and why you look like a cowboy?....Well, the fact is that Martians are the most technologically advanced culture in the Milky Way, are visually similar to Earthians, live underground, are very busy, totally uninterested in other cultures and their different ways ( although they do fly around planets for sport, this being the second most favourite sport at the All Martian Games ), don’t care to assimilate anyone or about metaphysical questions like….What’s life really about?, where do we go after death?, who was first in the galaxy Adam or Eve? and are very quiet in their ways, they prefer it.
