Moon and Sun Silver Compass Pendant

A beautiful Sun and Moon Compass design pendant, made from a lovely design from a wax seal stamp, I thought it was a bit different from a normal sort of compass. I have lightly patinated it and then polished and burnished the raised parts so they pop out from the background, sorry this is not so obvious to see on the photos, it is difficult to capture on camera, the first 5 photos are of the pendant I have in stock, it has a lighter patina which I rather liked but it will darken over time! I have left some of the edges as they came out when making the impression, I think it adds to the character! It is made from fine silver metal clay, which once fired is solid fine silver with a purity of 99.9%, metal clay starts life out as fine silver particles mixed with a clay binder which can then be sculpted and textured and folded and all sorts besides! It is then fired and the binder burns away leaving a solid metal piece. There are all sorts of metal clays available these days, from silvers and golds to bronzes and copper. It hangs from a nice good sized weighty sterling silver chain that is 18 inches or 46cm long. The pendant itself is 2.6cm in diameter, from the top of the jump ring the height is 3cm, in inches that is just over an inch for the diameter and from the top of the jump ring 1 and 3/16 of an inch! It is a unisex piece and will look great on everyone.
