Winter Light

Painted from photos and outdoor studies of Stanage in South Yorkshire, during the last few hours of winter light. The warm colour of the local stone and the copper and ochre of the flora were amplified by the warm spectrum light of the low setting sun shining across the high ground and the valley below.
