The Neurotic Spider

A plump spider…
Black with red dotty growths and many green eyes and short legs…
Weaves her net between an orange and an oak tree.

She is a very tenacious spider…
Or maybe she just loves the place….
Can’t tell.

Her web is huge….
And provides plenty….
It hangs from the orange tree to the oak tree…
And shines brightly every day.

The patterns of her web….
Appear beautifully organized from afar….
But are totally neurotic….
On a closer look.

The orange and oak trees are planted on the sides of the road to town…..
One on the left side….
The other on the right.

A cart rides every morning through that road…..
And the silly spider goes to work again.
