SOLD. Apache Gold Dangle Earrings

SOLD. These lovely Apache Gold gemstones have been made into chic minimalist earrings. I deliberated as to how I should use them, I didn’t want to set them as I didn’t want to detract from the stones and after much playing around with ear wires I found a simple triangular sterling silver ear wire worked very nicely to show off the pretty stones! Apache gold is also known as healers gold, it is a metaphysical name given to the stone which is a combination of Pyrite, an iron sulphide and Magnetite, an iron oxide. The colour is black and gold sometimes with white inclusions. The powerful magnetic energy of this stone makes it a good stone to shield one’s environment from the electromagnetic emanations of electronic equipment and computers.
The straight edge drops are 3.8cm long from the top of the ear wire ( 1 1/2 inches) and 1.6cm wide, the gemstones are 2.3cm long.
