A fun pair of stylish minimal sterling silver threader earrings! Lovely little chunky silver nuggets and discs layered on simple sterling silver threader hooks, minimalist and chic! The nugget beads are made from sterling silver metal clay, each one is individually made, they have a nice weight to them but are not too heavy. The discs and nuggets move individually, so the earrings have nice movement.
If you haven’t come across metal clay it was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 in gold and then in turn silver, it is microscopic particles of silver mixed into a binder, it can be sculpted, textured, rolled etc. it is then fired whereupon the binder burns away and the particles fuse together or sinter into a metal piece.The earrings are approximately 4.9cm long (2 inches) from the top of the hook and 1.2cm wide (3.8 of an inch).
