Agent Orange

To this day you can still see the after effects of agent orange dropped over Vietnam by the Americans during the war.  This child, maybe nine or ten years old, was being pushed by his mother in a pram through Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, in 2019.  He is totally helpless and she is reduced to begging.

Alison Meek

I love using saturated colours or simple black and white: colour conveys emotions, reactions, tensions, moments in time that are experienced but not seen. Using line for life drawing lets me practice optimum co-ordination between eye and hand, free from thought expressed in words, allowing for a universal language.
