Summer Days

English summer time scene. I painted this with thoughts of the lazy days of summer in my mind with the oilseed rape crops in the field beginning to ripen and the warmth of the sun on my face, the warm breeze carrying the scent of freshly cut grass. The painting continues round the edge of the canvas frame so this painting comes ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. This painting is on a standard edge canvas and has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
