Colombo. Victoria Hospital
The Victoria Memorial Eye Hospital was built in 1903 as a memorial to the late Queen Victoria with the patronage of Lady Ridgeway, wife of the then British Governor. The design is in a mixture of styles, which appears at first sight reminiscent of Hindu architecture.
