Calm Waters - Eiders

Three male Eider ducks on a calm, sunny day in late winter or early spring, reflected in the gently rippling water. These beautiful black and white sea ducks are a familiar sight around the coasts of northern Britain, and can be found in flocks of hundreds in the winter. The females are brown with darker barring, but share the same distinctive head and bill profile. In early summer, large ‘crèches’ of ducklings can be seen accompanied by the females as they feed just offshore.

An unmounted giclée print made from an original digital image created by me in Photoshop using a graphics tablet and pen. The print was made using the finest archival inks and acid-free paper and will be posted carefully rolled in a strong cardboard tube with the printed surface protected by a layer of tissue paper (exactly the same way they are delivered to me by the printers).

The edition is out of 100 and each print is hand signed and numbered in pencil by the artist.

Paper size 20 x 20 inches (51 x 51cm)
Image size 14 x 14 inches (35.5 x 35.5cm)

NB - temporarily out of stock till I get more printed.

Free post & packing within the UK; please note I am no longer able to send items outside the UK - it has become far too expensive and too much hassle since Brexit, plus the risk of damage in the post is much greater.
