‘Love is Blind 2’ is a paper on canvas collage, measuring 20x20 cm.

The vintage couple are film stars Michele Morgan and Jean Marais for the film ‘Aux yeux des souvenirs’, a 1948 French language motion picture romantic drama directed by Jean Delannoy.
The image is a cut out from a fifties French film magazine.
The main background image is a detail of an illustration of Robert Rauschenberg’s assemblage: ‘Snow Crab Cristal Glut’.
The composition is finished with an other detail of an illustration of Robert Rauschenberg’s assemblage: ‘Blind Rosso, Porpora Glut’, a cut out circle with one eye and a red rose.
The elements contrast and complement each other.
As a result the objects seem to give the couple their expression.
