Singing Blue Tit Birds Silver Necklace

Gorgeous singing blue tit birds pendant in fine and sterling silver. Pretty little blue tit birds sitting on a branch, one is singing whilst the other looks on! Lots of detail on both the birds and the branch they sit a top of! The pendant has a more frosted finish, I was just about to polish it up when I decided I rather liked the finish but I am happy to do a bright silver finish if it is preferred!

The pendant is made from recycled fine silver metal clay, which is 99.9% silver, sterling is 92.% silver, the chain is sterling silver. If you do not know about metal clay it was invented in the 1990’s by the Japanese, it fine silver particles mixed with a binder and all sorts can be done with it, sculpting, texturing, origami and so on. It is fired in a kiln and the binder burns away leaving a lovely metal piece. there are all sorts of metal clays available now, bronze, copper, iron to name but a few!

The pendant is approximately 5.7cm wide (2 1/4 inches) and 2.8cm tall (just under and inch and a quarter) and the chain and the width of the pendant are 48.5cm long. (just over 19 inches). The chain is sterling silver as is the lovely little heart carabiner clasp, the clasp is nice and easy to use.
