Geranium Flower in Silver

Pretty sculptural silver pendant made from a mould created using a real geranium flower, hence the lovely textured middle! The pendant is made from fine silver (99.9% silver) and is teamed with a sparkly sterling silver (92.5% silver) popcorn chain! There is also a bronze flower available in a lovely soft gold colour (next listing).

The geranium flower symbolizes happiness, good health, good wishes, and friendship. They are associated with positive emotions.

Metal clay was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 in gold and then in turn silver, it is microscopic particles of metal mixed into a binder, it can be sculpted, textured, rolled etc. it is then fired whereupon the binder burns away and the particles fuse together or sinter into a solid metal piece.

The pendant is approximately 2.8 to 2.8cm wide, the bronze flower pendant comes up fractionally larger than the silver one cm wide (1 1/8 inch) and 2.8 to 2.9cm high (1 1/8 inch) and the sterling silver chain is 46cm long or 18 inches. The chain has a good sized sterling silver carabiner clasp on it and two jump rings.
