Iris Silver Petal Flower Pendant

A beautiful double sided iris flower petal pendant in fine silver with a sparkly diamond cut sterling silver rolo chain.
The gorgeous detail of the iris petal is on both sides (happy to email photos of both sides) so it can be worn either way, the chain will need turning around to show the other side but I have created a bail for the petal so it will sit well either way!

The flower name “iris” originates from a Greek word that translates to “rainbow,” which is only fitting considering the many iris flower colors available. It also refers to the Ancient Greek goddess of the rainbow and the messenger of the Olympian gods, Iris.
Blue irises are a known symbol of wisdom, faith and hope.

The pendant is made from fine silver metal clay, it has a purity of 99.9% silver, the chain is sterling silver which is 92.5% silver. if you haven’t come across metal clay before it was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 and it is fine metal particles, in this case fine silver mixed with a clay binder and it can be sculpted and textured and has endless possibilities, it is then fired and the clay binder burns away leaving just the metal piece. It is now available in gold and bronze and copper and all manner of metals, some of which behave themselves and some of which are tricky to work in!

The pendant is 5cm long and 2.3cm wide, the sterling silver chain is available in 18 inches which is 46cm or 20 inches with is 51cm, please message me as to what chain length you would like when you place an order, if you need longer I am happy to check to see if I have a longer chain available!
