Her works are influenced by pop art, surrealism and Dadaism, her compositions are dynamic and striking whether in painting, collage and assemblage. Her work is exhibited in France, England, the Netherlands, Italy, Albania, Serbia, the United States… The bases of her inspiration lie in her political commitment to women’s rights, freedom and social justice. The emancipation of women remains the major theme of its diverse and multi-layered compositions. She confides in all humility: “The hidden side of people and the soul of objects intrigue me.”

C’est une artiste surréaliste, d’avant-garde, une féministe contemporaine, elle présente, ici à la Galerie Ravaisou son travail sur le portrait, et c’est une découverte, un enchantement, le public est saisi, il est emprisonné, il n’en réchappera pas et il l’exprime : « Je suis happé par de nombreuses toiles, je ne peux pas l’expliquer, c’est indescriptible », confie ce visiteur.

Ses œuvres sont influencées par le pop art, le surréalisme et le dadaïsme, ses compostions sont dynamiques et saisissantes que ce soit en peinture, collage et assemblage. Son travail s’expose en France, en Angleterre, aux Pays-Bas, en Italie, en Albanie, en Serbie, aux Etats-Unis… Les bases de son inspiration résident en son engagement politique pour le droit des femmes, la liberté et la justice sociale. L’émancipation des femmes reste le thème majeur de ses compostions diverses et multicouches. Elle confie en toute humilité : « La face cachée des gens et l’âme des objets m’intriguent ».

Of all forms of art, Marian prefers to express herself through collage. Her analog compositions combine acrylic paint and oil paint, original illustrations dating from 1900 till today and three dimensional recycled components. The works, influenced by pop art, dadaism and surrealism, show originality and freshness.
