Across the Plateau

The view from one of my walks in Durham, UK.

During summer looking across an area of grassland, a few trees mark the horizon. Atmospheric painting of this expansive view across East Durham.  For me, this painting depicts the feeling of freedom being outdoors in open space. Gentle, soft tones bringing the warmth from the outside in.

Painted on stretched canvas with wooden stretcher frame and fixings provided so that it can be hung without an additional frame.
