Islam and Nature

Being the Sculptor in residence at British Islamic Gardens (http://bigardens.org/) is a full-on commitment. Learning about and championing Islamic art, giving talks and presentations and producing functional stone work for the gardens. BIG is all about sustainability. And so part of my remit is to give talks about my supremely harmless lifestyle (https://mcalistairhood.artweb.com/the-hood-in-the-wood) and support nature walks and activities that BIG are organising. Exhausting, but hugely rewarding.
