City Vibes, Rome.

This is a fragment of city life in Rome near the Colosseum. I have painted it during the first wave of pandemic after cancelling my participation trip to Fabriano international watercolour exhibition . Instead of filling my mind with dissatisfaction I decided to put some colours on. The technique I used to paint this scene is wet and wet.

It is a studio piece and I have been experimenting with a new approach to tackle down the hustle and bustle of urban life. Limited pallet of Danielsmith Watercolours and escoda brushes helped me to achieve the final outcome.

This painting has been exhibited in New Delhi, India, as the part of IWS 3rd International Watercolour Biennale 2022.
