Narrow Boats

On a sunny day Regent’s canal is full of beauty and elegance. This is an unframed watercolour painting of narrow boats moored on the canal by Cester Street in central London. I have painted it during my recent visit to see a dearest friend. It was such a joy sitting by the canal with my sketchbook and observing the life around.  I could spend all day in this quiet part of London with my watercolours! There was a little coot swimming around and diving in search for food. I was surprised to see how territorial this tiny bird when a mallard duck came closer to her area of the water!
