High House

An oil painting commission of an imposing local house in my home village of Clanfield. This painting is done as a gift to the owner. Painted in oils with a mix of brushes and palette knife with an impasto style ie thick textured paint in places to add depth to the subject.
N.B. The hedge at the fron of the house has been reduced in the painting to allow a better view of the windows.
