Totems 1

These structures are designed by me and individually cut out of reclaimed packaging materials. I place a sheet of Japanese tissue on top and rub (frottage) over the structures with graphite.  Subsequently the individual items are fixed onto spray painted layers of a more robust substrate.
This is quite a protracted process like much of my work, but I do enjoy using existing ‘waste’ materials to create something new.
