The Softer Side

This is a small sub painting in another larger painting that is planned to be sub sectioned off. I enjoy taking bits of the overall painting and coming up with new pieces by adding captions cartoons doodles and anything that speaks to me about that particular portion of the painting.  One painting may not be one painting as you see it on the wall hanging.  To some it’s a novel chopped into chapter after chapter of each up hill climb and lull of each valley to be taken in slowly and digested with grace. Like your mom said, “You’ll get a stomachache if you just wolf down your food”. How can you enjoy anything if it zooms past so quickly you had no time to even register what it was you’re taking in?
