curlew marsh

a small handmade concertina gallery book of blind embossed paper containing a series of four monoprints with mixed media embellishments. it is inspired by walks on Suffolk marshes watching my favourite bird, the curlew.
It has a watercolour card cover and is presented in a buff card box .
size-folded 9x10 cms,  mono prints 3.5 cms square
Text on the reverse reads
‘wander from a reedbed gold to find mudflats
luminous as metal
in the last sun of the day
curlew rise startled
their call an echo in the quiet’
