Bee Wax Seal Pendant

A silver bee wax seal pendant!
Spiritually, bees are linked with rejuvenation, divinity, and the mysteries of the natural world. They’re viewed as divine messengers in folklore, navigating between the physical and spiritual realms and are associated with life’s sweetness and virtue in religious contexts.

The bee pendant is given a patina and then the raised silver parts are polished to give it a pop! It comes with a sterling silver rolo chain also known as a belcher chain with a good sized carabiner clasp. There is a choice of a 46cm chain (18 inches) or a 51 cm chain (20 inches), again please let me know which length you would like.

The bee and the flower are made from fine silver metal clay, which has a higher silver content than sterling, fine silver is 99.9% silver and sterling is 92.%% silver content. If you haven’t come across metal clay before it is fine silver particles in a binder that can be sculpted or shaped or textured, once dry it is fired and the binder burns away just leaving the silver. It comes in all sorts of metals, bronze, copper, gold as well as silver.
