Blue Baby Why

I am exploring the theme of love, loss, trauma ….
Through the use of exaggerated postures, limbs, hands and feet I aim to convey the rawness of childbirth and the intensity of emotions when faced with loss and grief. There is a vulnerablity where the mother’s breast is depicted as raw and sore. Hands are entwined and amplified as are heads eyes mouths depicting the turmoil of the event.
