Pink Cymophane Teardrop Gemstone Earrings

Gorgeous pink teardrop cymophane gemstone earrings with an elegant simple teardrop earring fitting in sterling silver. Cymophane gemstones which have rutile included display chatoyancy and turn the gemstones into Cat’s Eye gemstones, these lovely pink stones have that glinting Cat’s Eye quality, hopefully this can be seen in the images!

I played around with making an earring fitting that enhances the shape of the gemstone, so the rounded teardrop shaped fittings reflect the rounded teardrop shaped stones. The earring fittings are made from recycled sterling silver.

The approximate length of the earrings is 4.3cm (1 3/4 inches) long from the top of the hook and 1.7cm (5/8 inch) wide, the length of the gemstones is 2.5cm (1 inch).
